Landing Page Templates: 8 Copy-Ready Layouts for India
Eight free landing page templates for Indian businesses, with section-by-section example copy, design principles, tracking setup and a pre-launch checklist.

Search for landing page templates and you mostly get galleries: hundreds of pretty layouts with lorem ipsum where the words should be. The layout is the easy part. What decides whether a page gets enquiries is what goes in each section, in what order, and whether it answers the questions your buyer has before they hand over a phone number.
So here are eight section-by-section templates for common Indian use cases, from a Kukatpally clinic to a Tellapur housing project, with example copy to adapt. Then come the principles, speed, tracking, builders, A/B testing and a pre-launch checklist. All businesses in the examples are fictional.
What Every High Converting Landing Page Needs
A landing page is a single page built for one campaign and one action: book, enquire, register or buy. Your homepage, by contrast, serves everyone. Most high converting landing pages share the same skeleton, whatever the industry:
- <strong>Headline that repeats the promise of the ad</strong>, so the visitor knows they are in the right place within a second or two.
- <strong>One primary action</strong> (a form, a call button or a WhatsApp button) visible without scrolling on a phone.
- <strong>Proof</strong>: reviews, numbers you can back up, recognisable clients, registrations or certifications.
- <strong>Details that remove doubt</strong>: price or price range, location, timings, what happens after they submit.
- <strong>An FAQ</strong> that answers the objections your sales team hears every day.
- <strong>A repeat of the action</strong> at the bottom, and usually a sticky button on mobile.
8 Landing Page Templates for Indian Businesses
Each template follows that skeleton but changes the order and proof to suit how people buy in the category. Read each table top to bottom: that is the scroll order on a phone.
1. Clinic lead generation (appointment booking)
Avoid promising cures or outcomes, and have the doctors approve every line: ad platforms and medical ethics rules both restrict healthcare claims.
2. Coaching institute admissions
3. Real estate project enquiry
The RERA line is a legal requirement, not decoration. Section 11(2) of the Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act says a promoter's advertisement must prominently mention the authority's website address and the project's registration number. Several state authorities also issue their own rules on font size and placement, so check your state RERA's circulars and have your legal team sign off.
4. D2C product launch
Shoppers burned by Instagram-only stores look for a registered business name, GSTIN and real contact before paying. Our sibling post on e-commerce website templates covers full store layouts; this template is for the single launch page you send ad traffic to.
5. B2B demo request
SaaS companies have extra considerations such as free trials and self-serve sign-up. Those are covered in our SaaS landing page guide.
6. Webinar or event registration
7. Local service booking
8. WhatsApp-first landing page
A WhatsApp button uses a <strong>click-to-chat link</strong> in the form wa.me/91XXXXXXXXXX, and you can add <code>?text=</code> with a URL-encoded message to pre-fill the chat. Pre-filling a different message for each campaign ("Hi, I saw your Instagram ad") tells you which ad started which conversation. If you are paying Meta to start these chats directly from the ad instead, read our guide to click-to-WhatsApp ads.
Landing Page Design Principles That Matter Most
One goal per page
Every extra link is an exit. Remove the site navigation, keep the footer to legal links, and give the page one action. A call button beside a form is fine because both serve the same goal; a "download brochure" link beside "book a site visit" splits attention.
Message match with the ad
If the ad says "AC service ₹599, same day", the page must say ₹599 and same day in the first screen. Google Ads rates landing page experience partly on how closely the page matches the ad and keyword, and on how quickly people can do what they came for. One page per ad group or offer is the practical answer; our ad copy examples show how to write the ad side of that pair.
Above the fold on a phone
Test on a mid-range Android phone, not a MacBook. Before any scrolling, a visitor should see the headline, one line of proof and the action button. Hero images that push the button below the fold are the most common problem we see in the pages we audit.
Form length
Every field costs some submissions, and every field you drop costs some lead quality. Our rule of thumb: ask only what your sales team needs for the first call. For a clinic that is name, phone and preferred time. For real estate or B2B, one qualifying question (budget, configuration, company size) usually pays for itself in fewer wasted calls. Add a consent line saying how you will contact them, in line with India's data protection rules.
Trust signals Indian buyers look for
- <strong>Registrations</strong>: RERA numbers for real estate, GSTIN and legal entity name for anyone selling online, medical council registration for doctors.
- <strong>Google reviews</strong> with the rating and count, ideally embedded or linked to your Google Business Profile so they can be checked.
- <strong>A visible phone number and address</strong>. A landline or a physical office still reassures many buyers.
- <strong>A WhatsApp button</strong>. Many people would rather ask a quick question on WhatsApp than fill a form.
- <strong>Payment reassurance</strong> for D2C: UPI, COD and a clear return or replacement policy.
Mobile Speed and Core Web Vitals
Most ad traffic in India arrives on phones, often over patchy 4G. Google's Core Web Vitals give you three measurable targets, assessed at the 75th percentile of page loads:
Run the page through PageSpeed Insights before launch and fix the mobile report first. The usual fixes: a compressed WebP hero image, no sliders or autoplay video, and chat widgets loaded after the page is interactive.
Tracking: Know Which Ads Produce Leads
A landing page without tracking is a guess. Set these up before you spend a rupee:
- <strong>GA4 key events.</strong> Send an event for each action (form submit, call click, WhatsApp click) and mark it as a key event in Admin > Events. Google's help centre notes you can create Google Ads conversions from these key events.
- <strong>Google Ads conversions.</strong> Either import GA4 key events or use the Google Ads conversion tag. Pick one source per action so you don't double count.
- <strong>Meta Pixel and Conversions API.</strong> Fire a Lead event on the thank-you page or on submit, and send it server-side too, since browser-only tracking misses a share of conversions.
- <strong>A thank-you page</strong> at its own URL, which simplifies tracking and sets expectations ("We will call you within 2 hours").
- <strong>UTM parameters</strong> on every ad link, and hidden form fields that pass them into your CRM so you can judge campaigns on sales, not just leads.
For the full setup, including how GA4 attributes leads across channels, see our GA4 attribution tracking guide.
Where to Build Your Landing Page
Any of these can produce a fast, high converting page; the choice depends on who will edit it. We haven't listed prices because they change often, so check each vendor's pricing page.
If you want the page designed, built and connected to your tracking and CRM in one go, our web development team builds landing pages for Indian businesses on WordPress, Shopify and custom stacks.
A/B Testing Basics
An A/B test splits traffic between two versions of a page to see which converts better. Useful testing is less about button colours and more about big differences.
- <strong>Test one big idea at a time</strong>: a different headline angle, price shown versus hidden, form versus WhatsApp, short versus long page.
- <strong>Wait for enough conversions.</strong> A result based on 12 leads is noise. As a practical guide, we wait for at least a few dozen conversions per version and two full weeks, so weekday and weekend behaviour both count.
- <strong>Don't change the ads mid-test</strong>, or you won't know what caused the difference.
- <strong>Judge on qualified leads or sales</strong>, not just form fills. A version that doubles leads by hiding the price may double junk leads too.
Pre-Launch Checklist
The last row is the one most often missed. A good landing page raises the number of enquiries; it cannot rescue leads that wait two days for a callback.
